Basic Types of Hyperlink

This article deals with the basic classification of the links. Links can be divided into many categories and types, and basic knowledge of what each category is important. This article does not go to a great extent on the strategies of real linkage, since it is a broader issue.

Reciprocal Links

Reciprocal linking is a classic and very common type of link. Also known sometimes as the linking of two ways, it is basically the process of linking trade with other webmasters. Is the idea of "You link to me, and link with you." Often, you will see web sites with a 'links' on your page somewhere, often buried somewhere at the bottom. These pages are filled with various links to other sites that they expect something of the kind in common with the site you're visiting.

Reciprocal links are lagging a bit out of fashion lately in a way links, which are considered more powerful and require less maintenance. It is believed that search engines recognize the links that are reciprocal relations and give a little less weight than if only one way inbound links. Another problem with reciprocal links is that once you setup a reciprocal link with another webmaster, you have to go back to your site from time to time to check and make sure your relationship is in fact still there. In general it is a powerful way to get links, but should not be overlooked.

Outbound Links

One way links are the links to your site but the links are different from each other and have an outgoing link to the site with links back to you. For example, if you throw me a link to the homepage of Google, a link to Google. This is not to put a link on your homepage back to here, although it would not be right! This is essentially the most basic type of linkage, but may also be the most powerful.

When search engines go through someone's site and see a link to your website that give weight to your site. When they see that are not directly linked to the linked page has no relationship agreement, give more weight as a link. It is assumed that someone of his own free will associated with its contents, and do not require a link to them to do so. If so, their content must be of high quality. Because the links are so powerful, and require no maintenance, most linking strategies out there today are focused on a link in some way.

Three way links

Three way links are a variation of reciprocal links. However, instead of "You link to my site, link to support the idea, the correct term would be" I link to my site, a link to a site different from mine. "It's basically a link to each other, but their liaison is a place in the 3rd place.

It is believed that search engines do not care much for the special three-way linkage. The idea is that you may be trying to fool search engines into thinking you're getting a link in some way, when in fact a reciprocal link in disguise. One use of the three-way relationship that is common is that when you have 2 very popular sites, and brand new. The idea is that "I link to your new, very unpopular in my website, and instead of returning to my new site that is not as popular. Let me give you a link to one of my other popular sites so you can get one too best weight for search engines. "Three way linking is quite common, but I do not and I would not recommend it.
